The Vision

We have owned Goat Island for approximately 25 years. When we moved to Lake Beshear  (Dawson Springs, KY) in 2016 we prayed about changing the name but felt led to give the name meaning. God Of All Things Island. "GOAT Island". We have had two inspirational concerts on the island but our hearts desire is much stronger than an occasional concert; Something that could be a self sustaining testimony 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 
Imagine a small island (1 acre) in western Kentucky that is within 1 to 4 hours of the seven States it borders. A light house with a light that is powered by solar energy to remind people of the island and all it stands for. A solar powered PA system that will play inspirational music 24/7. 
We firmly believe that every song played will be a 3 minute message that has the potential to touch hearts and change lives. The lighthouse is to be built at the high side of the island where visibility is the best. At the lower end of the island a small amphitheater where regular concerts can be held for a live audience. Cookouts will accompany the concerts and an invitation to accept Christ will be offered at each event. 
A walkway from the lighthouse to the amphitheater in the form of a cross would shout to the world (and air traffic) that this is God's island. 
A boardwalk around the entire island will allow visitors to walk and listen to the music.  Yes some will even fish off the boardwalk and that's ok, while they are fishing God is speaking to their hearts! Somewhere on the island we plan to construct a huge American flag in honor of all our military men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. 
The Lord said bring me what you have . . . we have an island and a dream. Now let's see what God does with our love offering. 
Music Connections Ministry, Inc. is a 501C3 nonprofit organization. Everything we do must glorify our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
An estimated cost of $100k using several volunteers. Together we can do this.
